What we collect, and what we do not.

Creation1618 is the operating brand for the platform family. Any question about this notice, or any request under it, reaches a person at contact@creation1618.com.

The form at /connect collects your name, work email, organisation and — only if you offer them — your role, country, phone number and message, along with which platforms you selected and what you said you would like to do.

We use it to reply to you. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it to profile you or to advertise to you anywhere.

Your enquiry is written down in two places: our server log, and a notification email to the person who will answer you, which stays in their mailbox. You can have it cleared — see below.

Demonstration access is granted by hand, never automatically. When we send you an access link and you open it, one cookie is set on your browser. It carries the email address the link was issued to and which platforms it opens, it lasts fourteen days, and it exists so the demos recognise you. It is not used to track you and it is the only cookie this site sets.

Demonstrations run on seeded, made-up data. Nothing you do inside one is connected back to you beyond that cookie.

We keep the number of other companies involved deliberately small. Each of these is a supplier acting on our instructions, not a party we share data with for their own purposes:

• Our hosting provider, which runs the site and keeps ordinary server logs.
• Our transactional email provider, which delivers the notification carrying your enquiry, and retains a copy in its own sending log.
• Our mail provider, which hosts the mailbox that notification arrives in.

Some of these companies are based outside Australia, and where we can choose the location of stored records we choose an Australian or Asia-Pacific one. We do not sell personal information, and we have never disclosed any to anyone for their own marketing.

Write to contact@creation1618.com and quote your reference if you have one — it is the code beginning C1618- that the form gave you when you submitted, and it is in our reply. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will remove the notification email, and the copy held in our email provider’s sending log.

One thing we cannot do, and would rather say than not: the brief server log entry expires on its own schedule and cannot be deleted line by line. It is short-lived, and it is the only copy that outlives your request.

You can also ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct it. We will answer within a reasonable time and without charging you.

Enquiries reach a mailbox only a named person can open. Transport is encrypted throughout, and nothing you send is copied into a customer-relationship system, an advertising platform or a spreadsheet somewhere.

We keep an enquiry while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to it. When it is of no further use we delete it, and you can ask us to do that sooner at any point.

Tell us first at contact@creation1618.com and we will look into it and reply. If our answer does not resolve it, you can take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which handles complaints under the Privacy Act.
