What it is for
Traceability systems stop at custody and accounting systems start at the invoice, so the same shipment is keyed twice into two records that quietly drift apart. When a recall, a customer audit or a disputed invoice lands, teams spend days rebuilding from spreadsheets and emails to answer questions their systems should already be able to answer.

Where this actually is
The full product runs end to end today on a seeded demonstration dataset. Production connectors and live tenancies are next.
Runs end to end today on a seeded demonstration network: batch genealogy, multi-hop custody, automatic receivables and payables with human approval, exception resolution, recall, scoped partner portals, public verification, embeddable widgets, a JavaScript SDK, a REST API and GS1/Peppol exports — with an automated test suite in continuous integration. Sign-in, partner self-registration and approval are real. Not yet production: the accounting connector is built but dormant until credentials are supplied, a second is stubbed, bank-feed clearing is simulated, and there is no production deployment, paying customer, audit or certification.
Why this travels across the two markets
Vietnamese exporters and the Australian buyers who source from them are both being asked for lot-level provenance and faster settlement on the same shipments. A delegate can take TraceX three ways: a producer pilots it on one real product line, a Vietnamese software house or logistics platform embeds it and ships traceability and settlement as its own feature, or a university or agency uses it as a working reference for cross-border provenance over open GS1 and Peppol formats.
